John and Josef are both Registered Professional Engineers of Queensland.
While John’s Bachelor and Masters qualifications were earned at Australian universities, Josef’s studies took place both in Australia and his home country of Austria.
Both men have held engineering design and support positions in both volume product manufacture and one off machine design companies. In this process, they have gathered skills in both repeatable manufactured items that must fit into an existing product range and designs that are quickly engineered and constructed from readily available standard sections and components.
John gets a kick out of the use of both classical and computerised methods in the analysis and design of engineering structures.
Josef’s specialty is the generation of insightful and cost effective materials handling solutions from concept level to detail machine design where necessary.

In 2009, the company’s capabilities were strengthened still further with the addition of a young graduate engineer, Jon White. Jon completed all of his Bachelors degree vacation practice cutting his teeth on the range of services offered by Beach Wagner. He joined the company after considering other larger consultancies because the opportunity to specifically practice and hone his engineering skills appealed to him.
